History Of Center

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم In the name of God the most beneficent the most merciful Assalamu Alaikum, (Peace be Upon You)

Welcome to the Al-Huda Islamic Center!

Our Islamic institution does not only comprise of a school of religious learning for adults and children, but is also a fully fledged Masjid or place of Islamic worship, Alhamdulilah.

We aim to provide intelligent, authoritative responses to anyone’s question about Islam, whether it be from a Muslim or a non-Muslim, and to help solve general and personal social problems.

All questions and answers on this site will be approved, revised, edited, amended or annotated and the committee members, or the supervisor of this site.

With the spread of Islam world-wide walillah il-hamd (and all praise is for Allah) and its diffusion into the internet, some sites have been published claiming to serve Muslims and to speak in the name of Islam.

However, not all of these sites, which discuss issues relevant to Islam, present accurate and reliable information based on the true beliefs and practices of the Prophet (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions(may Allah be pleased with them). It is hoped that this site will demonstrate our willingness to help anyone that needs help and who wants to learn out our wonderful religion without any problem or fear.

The objectives of our centre are:

To teach and familiarize Muslims with various aspects of their religion.
To be a source for guiding people to Islam.
To respond to users questions and inquiries to the best of our resources and capabilities.
To assist in solving the social and personal problems of the Muslims in our surrounding or elsewhere in an Islamic context.
It was decided to make the centre all-encompassing, directed towards Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Subject areas include, but are not limited to, Islamic fiqh and jurisprudence, Islamic history, Islamic social laws (including marriage, divorce, contracts, and inheritance), Islamic finance, basic tenets and aqeedah of the Islamic faith and tawheed (“unification,” making something one or “asserting oneness” or the onesness of Allah), and Arabic grammar as it relates to the Quran and Islamic texts.

Guidance, knowledge and advice imparted by Mufti Riaz, is only by using authentic, scholarly sources based on the Quran and sunnah, and other reliable contemporary scholarly opinions.

References are provided where appropriate in the responses. All requests are held with confidence, and replies are available personally and/or publicly depending on the circumstances.

The opportunity to have a web-site suggests posting all pertinent information regarding the Mosque Board of Trustees (B.O.T.), its members and its activities. We believe it will be beneficial to the community as well as for those who are looking for information on Islam.

To facilitate and streamline the communication, it is prudent to have a communication focal who can distribute all request for information to proper channels. The trust Secretary is a natural and logical point of focal. For information regarding the Trust, the point of contact is Below are the names of the B.O.T.
