Zakatul Fitri
Zakatul-Fitri and Fidya:
Today Radaman 17, 1445 and March 27, 2024, IANA Fatwa & Research Committee met to discuss the issues of Zakatul-Fitri and Fidya. The decision of the committee is as follows.
The Fidya for the persons not able to fast continually is valued at a total of $450 (four hundred fifty USD). This amount should be purchased with food and distributed to the poor.
